VENUE

The venue for the 16th conference will once again be at Royal Holloway, University of London. Noted for the Founder's Building, which is modelled on the Chateau de Chambord in the Loire Valley, the flamboyant architecture make this one of the most spectacular university buildings in the world. The College was officially opened by Queen Victoria in 1886 and includes the world-famous Picture Gallery housing a unique collection of Victorian paintings and Chapel with its fine reliefs and vaulted plaster ceiling.

The parkland campus, bordering Royal Windsor Great Park, is conveniently situated 20 minutes from Heathrow Airport, 5 mins from the M25 motorway (junc 13) and 35 minutes from London's Waterloo Station (Eurostar services). The conference will have exclusive use of the Windsor Lecture Building which offers state of the art meeting facilities. There is ample car parking on campus.

The historic town of Windsor is just 5 miles away for the campus. Crowned by the stunning Windsor Castle – the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world and was the favourite weekend home of the late Queen Elizabeth II – and linked by the beautiful river Thames, the Royal Borough has a rich mix of history, culture and heritage.

The university offers excellent student campus accommodation.  All rooms have double beds (135cm), private showers, wc, basins and internet access.  Breakfast and lunch will be held in the stunning Founders Building which is opposite the conference hall.
